There's an old saying in weather. "Trend is your friend."
In light of the ongoing gridlock in Washington, it must also works in politics - although the outcome is far less friendly.
As far as the weather is concerned, we're nowhere near shutting down this stretch of fine weather. In fact, it's time to put down those pumpkin lattes. Summer is about to come to a town near you.
Tomorrow we're paving the path to warmer weather. Sun will chase away the morning fog, and many spots rise to the low/mid 70s. Wednesday's even warmer with a steady southwest breeze.
This time of year, take note of the haze. The lower sun angle will highlight this feature more than any other time of year. In fact, the sun may disappear before it even sets due to the thick layer of haze in the coming days (especially as the humidity builds late in the week).
Even when we cool down later this week, we'll still be above normal! Long, long range shows us eventually cooling down next week, but we'll have to see how that materializes.
See you at the beach!
