Talk about Oktoberfest. Sunshine rolls on again today and we start a warming trend--to boot! Many cities & towns will reach the 70s--warmest away from the ocean and like so many other days in September---barely any humidity. It's an area of high pressure that has taken up shop across the eastern half of the United States for the past several weeks and there are no immediate signs of it leaving.
We will see a cool front slip across New England tomorrow evening but it will come through here with barely a whisper. Before that front sneaks though these parts plan on more sunshine tomorrow and afternoon temps in the low 80s---normal high is 67. On Thursday, that cool front will do its thing--sort of--as temps won't reach the 80s but rather the 70s. Again...still above normal.
Will it ever rain again? Careful Skywalker---It does appear that clouds will gather Friday evening and linger into Saturday. Some showers appear likely on Saturday morning but most towns will pick up less than an .50" of rain. The remainder of the weekend (after 10am Saturday) looks dry.
Raise a glass to Mother Nature.
