Quiet Holiday Weekend
Posted by Chris Lambert
Lots going on this weekend from the Sox at Fenway to the Pats at Gillette to hitting the local apple orchards and pumpkin patches. Overall, the weather works out just fine for all of that, although at times, it'll be a bit on the cool side compare to the mid 60s to lower 70s we had today.
As high pressure builds into New England, we'll track a bit of moisture working in along an onshore flow tomorrow. That moisture provides us with more clouds and even a passing sprinkle or patch of drizzle. Combine a breeze that is active out of the NE, and we'll have a blustery day overall, especially at the coast. Temps range from the upper 50s at the coast to low 60s inland.
That high pushes any low level moisture west and south of us on Sunday, allowing for brighter skies and temps near 60 at the coast, low 60s inland. Monday is brighter as well as highs reach the mid 60s.
Heading to Fenway? Both nights feature temps in the mid 50s, although Saturday night feels a bit cooler with a stronger onshore breeze and more clouds around.
Gillette tailgating looks great Sunday with afternoon temps running in the lower 60s.
The pattern warms a bit for the middle part of next week before a cold front brings in showers Thursday afternoon.
Enjoy the weekend and Go Sox and Pats!!!
