Get 'em While They're Hot

What a day! (Yes, I know I've been saying that a lot lately.)
This evening, we'll slowly saunter back to the 50s ahead of a small weather system racing out of the Ohio Valley. Since it's on a breakneck pace, I expect the showers to move in...then out...overnight. Unfortunately not the slow, soaking rain we need, but if you live in Northern Mass. (north of the Pike) and Southern NH/ME, there is some good water (perhaps 1/3 of an inch) involved in this for you.
Tomorrow's a little cooler....by about 2-3 degrees. We should still touch 70 in many spots. Thank the mild temperatures overnight.
Thereafter, we go dry. No big storms brewing, no fierce wind, no numbing cold...yet. There are signs of a big pattern change late next week that will have you scrambling to turn on the heat, make the comfort food and perhaps dress in layers for the morning. I suspect there may even be some Lake Effect Snow in New York State and flurries in Northern New England!
The bill is almost due.
