High & Dry

Meh, so they lost. At least it's Friday and like many other Friday's going back to early September this one is dry and that dry weekend theme will continue. It's another chilly day though with many towns starting in the 20s/30s. Most towns will struggle to reach the lower 50s by afternoon. To add insult to injury, clouds will fill up much of the sky throughout the day. The difference maker will be that wind--it was fiesty yesterday and it will be again for a few hours this morning but it will fade away during the afternoon. Plan on a chilly evening for the H.S football games.
As for the weekend, it does have a few issues but no raindrops or snowflakes will be mentioned here. We will deal with not one but two fronts. The first is a Warm Front that will do just that, warm us up (Jer)! Look for temps to start cold but make a nice recovery and reach the upper 50s by afternoon. Some of that milder air will be masked by a healthy southwesterly breeze for much of the day though. Also look for an increase in clouds. Decent day ahead.
Sunday it's the Cold Fronts turn and it's early too! That means we will start with some clouds (perhaps a sprinkle on the Cape/Islands) and then see mostly sunny skies. In terms of the temperatures with that front, no dramatic drops just shaving a few degrees off of the temp on Saturday. Looks great for the Patriots/Dolphins down at Gillette---squish the fish--err---mammal.
