It was the first time this year I let the car warm up before I drove off this morning. I'm sure many of you that were up and at em early this morning did the same as a thick frost greeted us this morning as temps fell well into the 20s. In fact, Norwood hit 20 degrees, and mid 20s were common for many areas.
So obviously, we've changed the pattern for the colder, but not the wetter. Mainly dry conditions prevail this weekend as highs head into the mid to upper 50s. Clouds do increase this afternoon, and the wind is active out of the southwest, gusting 25-30mph. The only chance for a spotty light shower or sprinkle is overnight tonight before more sun returns tomorrow. Highs Sunday once again reach the mid to upper 50s.
So, enjoy the weekend and go Sox and go Pats! Tailgating weather at Gillette runs in the 50s with mostly sunny skies. If you're heading to St. Louis... game time temps there are in the 50s.
Long range, Halloween looks mainly dry and mild with temps near 60. We'll be well into the 60s Friday before a late-day or evening cold front brings rain across the area.
