We're all still buzzing over the Sox, and just as we get ready to celebrate, the weather decides to turn busy.
Increasing winds are making this Halloween especially spooky and mild. We finally broke through the chill this morning and sent the cold packing (kinda like the Cards). Highs jumped into the 60s this afternoon...
..and we're not done.
Instead of falling, temperatures will actually RISE through the night on the heels of that south wind. By morning, we'll wake to mid 60s around the Commonwealth. The morning will be a little nutty weatherwise. Gusts of wind could reach 40-50 mph as a cool front approaches by mid/late morning. There might even be some quick-hitting downpours racing by too. The afternoon SLOWLY settles down, but there will still be a mild breeze blowing.
Speaking of mild air, there will still be some left over on Saturday for the Sox parade!
No one said anything about it being sunny, however. A small area of showers will just miss Greater Boston, getting SE Mass. (from Plymouth out to Cape Cod) a little wet.
Sunday is much colder with another shot of (cold) showers. Highs only manage the upper 40s. Brr....
Thanks for a great season Red Sox!!!!!!!! We remain
